Huge crowds are expected in Washington, D.C. Saturday, March 24 to take part in March for Our Lives, a rally initiated by the victims of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
We heard the other day from State Sen. Brad Hoylman’s office, who’s chartering a bus to D.C. for any New Yorkers interested in making their voices heard on the gun control issue. The charter is being organized in coordination with Assemblymember Deborah Glick, Assemblymember Richard Gottfried, and Assemblymember Linda B. Rosenthal.
The bus will depart from the West Side of Manhattan at 5 a.m. and return by 9:30 p.m. Seats are available first come, first served. RSVP at the phone number listed above if you’re interested in going.
If you can’t make it to D.C., there will be a New York march, as well. See the facebook invite here.
