Cops Look For Suspect in Attempted Rape on Ludlow Street

Cops are searching for a suspect in an attempted rape that happened early Tuesday morning on Ludlow Street near Rivington Street.

The incident occurred at around 5:30 a.m. A 27-year-old woman was standing in a vestibule when the suspect came up to her. The suspect pushed the woman against a wall and began attacking her. When the victim screamed, someone who had been in the area came over to help. That’s when the suspect fled.

The man is described as a  light complexioned Hispanic male in his 30s, 180 pounds and last seen wearing a brown leather coat, a black hoodie, a black knapsack, gray jeans and white sneakers.
