Here’s the flyer that went up in a residential building on Henry Street after a carjacking that took place in broad daylight.
The victim put up this notice following the incident outside 217 Henry St. (just east of Clinton St.) on Tuesday. His car was stolen by two male suspects who, “came from behind” and also stole his wallet and phone.
We checked with the 7th Precinct about the incident. We were told this was, in fact, a carjacking. The suspects allegedly “simulated” having a gun. One suspect has been taken into custody. Mario Reyes, a Brooklyn resident, was arrested Wednesday and charged with robbery, grand larceny and criminal possession of a motor vehicle.
The incident happened right across the street from the M.S. 56 building, which houses three schools.
