Police are trying to track down a suspect who assaulted a 65-year-old man in the Delancey Street subway station last week.
It happened June 18, a week ago Sunday, at around 5 p.m. on the Queens-bound J train platform. Cops say the suspect punched his victim in the face and then continued to punch and kick the man after he fell to the ground. The victim was rushed to the hospital, after becoming unconscious. He was treated and later released.
Police say the suspect is around 20 years old, he’s about 5-foot-7 and has long hair. They believe he’s Hispanic. If you have any information about this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
