Police are looking for several suspects in connection with an attack on the J Train Friday night. One of the victims was hit repeatedly with a hammer, suffering contusions to the head that required a trip to the hospital.
The incident happened at around 9 p.m. on a northbound J Train. The attack ensued after one of the victims apparently asked a man to move over so he could sit down. Following a verbal argument, the dispute became physical. The suspects are accused of punching and kicking the 29 and 53 year-old victims. The younger man was the recipient of the hammer attack.
The men fled when the train pulled into the Bowery Station. Someone on board the subway car snapped the photos you see here. If you have any info about this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
