Police have made an arrest in the attack of a Pakistani woman on East Broadway last month.

19-year old Amina Razvi suffered a broken jaw in the July 11 assault, which happened near Allen Street. The suspect had reportedly launched into an anti-Muslim diatribe before punching Razvi in the face. Yesterday cops said they arrested 29-year old Zin McDade in connection with the crime. He faces multiple charges, including felony hate crime assault and aggravated harassment.

Police say McDade is homeless. According to Channel 4, he was identified as a suspect after a drug arrest. The Post reports:

Cops… showed up to a hangout corner in the area at 1:55 p.m. Wednesday for an unrelated incident. McDade was at the spot, at Eldridge and Division streets, and initially was arrested for disorderly conduct there. Cops then recognized him and arrested him for the assault, sources said. He has been charged with felony assault and aggravated harassment, both as a hate crime, cops said. He has priors including acting in a manner injurious to a child under the age of 17 and fare-beating, cops said. McDade also has a history of psychological issues, according to a police source. In April, he was rushed to Bellevue Hospital when he overdosed on a controlled substance, sources said.

Razvi required surgery after the attack.
