Lower East Side-based Mark DeGarmo Dance debuted its first ever “Move UP! Summer Dance Academy” this week. It’s a free-two week program for students in Kindergarten through the fifth grade. The idea is to offer kids a chance to express themselves creatively through movement. Mark DeGarmo Dance offers similar classes in several LES schools during the regular academic year.
