Remember those “entry level” million dollar apartments planned at 50 Clinton St.? The first interior renderings went up on celebrity broker Fredrik Eklund’s Instagram this morning.
37 condominium apartments will rise on the former site of legendary restaurant wd-50, as well as several other local businesses. DHA Capital purchased the parcel for $28 million and announced plans for a 7-story project aimed at young professionals and first-time buyers. One-bedroom apartments were said to average about 600 square feet.
Today, Eklund went live with a teaser website, which pitches:
One, two, three bedroom and penthouse condominiums housed within beautiful masonry architecture and finished with bespoke details. Prices estimated from $975,000.
On Instagram, he adds that the property will include a “24-hour doorman, gym, lush gardens and rooftop terraces.” 2-bedroom units start at $1.75 million. Penthouses start at $3 million.
The interiors are being designed by Paris Forino, who has previously explained, ”this building will bring chic, glamour and refinement to the Lower East Side while keeping the industrial edge and warmth that people love about the neighborhood.”
