People who live near Extell Development’s massive construction project at 229 Cherry St./250 South St. will have an opportunity to take part in a briefing next week. As you probably know, the developer and its contractor, Lend Lease, are putting up a 68-story luxury tower and a smaller affordable building on the former Pathmark site. The point of the meeting is to address concerns about construction impacts in the immediate area. It takes place Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Manny Cantor Center, 197 East Broadway. The event hosted by the tenant association at Two Bridges Tower and Community Board 3.
