Coming up Sunday, Feb. 22, Chinatown will come alive with this year’s edition of the Lunar New Year Parade. But if you’d like to get an early start in celebrating the Year of the Ram, the Chinatown Y has a free event coming up this Saturday. There will be a lion dance, tea tastings, lantern making and other crafts for kids. The party takes place from noon-4 p.m. at the YMCA’s Lower East Side facility, 273 Bowery. Lunch will be at 12:30 (first come, first served).
