The police department is asking for help in finding a suspect who stole a cell phone from a woman on the Lower East Side about a week-and-a-half ago. The incident happened around 9:50 a.m. on October 17 in front of 169 Delancey St., just to the east of Clinton Street. According to cops,” the suspect approached the 58 year-old female victim… and removed her Samsung Galaxy cellphone from her hand.” They released the surveillance video you see posted above.
