We received an email s short time ago from Ashley Hanosh, the owner of Honey in the Rough, the clothing shop at 161 Rivington St. “With a heavy heart,” she said, “I am writing to inform you the news of my decision to close my shop next month. It has been over 7 years of nothing but honest pleasure to serve the Lower East Side and beyond in finding the absolute best dress, sparkling piece of jewelry and in the end baby outfit!”
A final sale will start February 3rd and continue through February 16. Women’s clothing will be discounted 70-90%. There will also be deep discounts on jewelry and children’s clothing.
Last fall, the store closed briefly and was relaunched as a kids’ fashion shop.
