It will be a day to remember legendary folk singer and activist Pete Seeger, who died yesterday at the age of 94.

In politics, there’s more talk today about Mayor de Blasio’s push for Pre-K, after his latest Albany offensive.  While in the capital, the mayor stopped by for lunch with his new BFF, Sheldon Silver.  They dined on pastrami sandwiches.

Looking for something to do tonight? Bluegrass musician Michael Daves is back at Rockwood Music Hall; Seth Herzog has his weekly gig at the Slipper Room; and it’s the Comic Book Club at Fontana’s.

Or if you’re a glutton for punishment – you could check out Community Board 3’s monthly meeting at P.S. 20.  The antics there get underway at 6:30.
