In 2009, we reported the sale of the loft building, just to the west of Essex. At the time, the broker called 112 Stanton the “last remaining building subject to the New York Loft Board.”  Now a listing has popped up on StreetEasy for $11.9 million.  There are 5 bedrooms/8 baths and 10,600 square feet.  A ground floor commercial space, the listing boasts, would be “perfect for a restaurant type business.”  More from the StreetEasy blurb:

Be instantaneously transported into a quiet, relaxed environment with sound proofed installation, custom motorized blinds and a cozy gas generated fireplace. Kitchen comes with top of the line subzero refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. Washer and dryer included. Enjoy a breathtaking 360 degrees panoramic view of the city from your rooftop. Make this stunning place your home in the heart of the Lower East Side.  Open your next bar or restaurant in the LES!

Recently, Douglas Elliman was advertising a penthouse unit at 112 Stanton – a 2 bed/2 bath apartment – for $5700/month.  The apartment was apparently rented.
