In this morning’s New York Post “police blotter,” news of a rape that occurred at Eldridge Street karaoke bar Neway last month. According to the story, 21-year old Omar Ocasio was arrested following the incident August 26. It happened around 4 a.m. inside the club. The victim got to a hospital after the alleged attack. Police then went to the bar and took Ocasio into custody. He has been charged with rape and committing a criminal sex act.
