- Gothamist checks out the newly opened Bowery Kitchen inside Bowery House. The “Nouveau Italian” spot is open all day, including for breakfast.
- The guys behind Grey Lady on Allen Street have opened a “grab-and-go” outpost next door. Among the offerings: crab claws, lobster rolls and clam rolls.
- Today at 4:30 p.m. Saxelby Cheesmongers in the Essex Street Market will offer a mozzarella and burrata making demo from Caputo Brothers Creamery in Pennsylvania. There will, of course, be free samples!
- Serious Eats loves Mission Chinese Food.
- Today and every Thursday from 3-7 p.m. you can get fresh produce in front of the Abrons Arts Center.
