In today’s Lower East Side restaurant/food news:
- Suburbia attacks: 7-11 opens up on the Bowery (see above).
- As we reported earlier this week, Congee Village will reopen today, after last weekend’s fire. They’re closed for lunch but will be serving dinner starting at 6:30.
- Grub Street reports the old Darkroom space on Ludlow becomes “Bodega” May 1.
- Also from Grub Street, “Divine Dish” opens on Stanton Street, serving vegetarian food.
