What do we have here? Our tipster, who lives across from Sara D. Roosevelt Park, isn’t sure what to make of this pile of chains that appeared in the “pit” between Broome and Delancey streets this week. His wife has named it “the giant alien brain.” Any ideas?
My son says he saw it hanging recently in an exhibit at the White Box Gallery on Broome Street. It’s still there in the pit.
Looks like balloons to me.
It looks similar to the sculpture currently outside Central Park at the Doris Freedman Plaza, at the southwest corner across from The Plaza Hotel.
