Community Board 3 is out with its April meeting agendas. As usual, the State Liquor Authority committee docket is packed. There are 36 applications listed in anticipation of the April 16 (marathon) meeting.
As expected, the new team behind “The DL” (formerly Ludlow Manor) will be back with proposed “stipulations,” restricting its second and third floor licenses. The triple-decker establishment has had a rough time of it in previous encounters with CB3 and the Liquor Authority, but new boss Paul Seres (head of the New York Nightlife Association) is hoping the board will sign off on a revised plan.
Other items of note: an application for 68 Clinton Street (the former Falai space), a wine-only pitch by Rustic LES at 124 Ridge Street (from the creators of the Bistro Truck) and a proposal from the operators of Lone Wolf in Bushwick to open a restaurant at 176 Delancey (alongside the Williamsburg Bridge).
