Traffic is slow going right now on Clinton Street. Police have set up a checkpoint just north of Delancey and are randomly pulling over motorists exiting the Williamsburg Bridge.
UPDATE 12:26 p.m. We understand some complaints were received from local residents about the street being used as a truck route. Police apparently set up the checkpoint to alleviate that problem.

This was going on last night around 10pm as well. Lots of cars pulled over.
People do things like drive drunk and they get caught in these random stops. I also hear they busted a hipster smuggling ring from Williamsburg.
