This evening’s 7th Precinct Community Council meeting features some special guests, including New York District Attorney Cy Vance, Jr. According to Community Council President Don West, officials with New York’s Chinese Consulate, City Councilmember Margaret Chin and NYPD Community Affairs chief, Phillip Banks, will also be on hand for the meeting, which begins at 7:30pm.
The council organizes these monthly events, along with 7th Precinct Commander Nancy Barry. She goes over the month’s crime stats, recognizes officers who have gone “above and beyond” the call of duty and takes questions from community members.
The 7th Precinct is located at 19 Pitt Street (near Delancey).
