LES Food Wire: Bun & Co. Closes, Early Word on Cocoron

Must Read

Grub Street reports the short-lived “Bun & Co.” has closed. A few months ago, owner/chef Ratha Chaupoly re-branded Kampuchea, saying the Cambodian restaurant was too pricey for the neighborhood. But the new incarnation, a sandwich shop, never caught on.

Fork in the Road has the “early word” on Cocoron, the tiny new soba spot on Delancey Street.  It was blogger central when we stopped in for dinner last night (lots of iphone photos being taken).  We second the Voice’s endorsement: Cocoron is the real deal.

If you’ve been to Cocoron or any other restaurants in the neighborhood lately — we hope you’ll head on over to our food page and give us your thoughts. There are 180+ restaurants on our list – and growing!
