Downtown’s favorite elf-eared art star, Saint Reverend Jen, will be hosting the 12th Annual “Mr. Lower East Side Pageant” at The Bowery Poetry Club this evening. (Locally) renowned contestants will participate in a one-minute talent competition, as well as swimsuit and evening wear segments. Comedian Mike Amato will be defending his title and the winner of the infamous evening gets a slice of pizza from Rosario’s, a six-pack of Budweiser and a crown with a detachable bong.
