Must Read

Around 9pm tonight, three people were shot on Stanton Street, not far from the intersection of Attorney Street.  According to Channel 7, one victim was shot in the shoulder, one in the chest and the last in the stomach. They are all expected to survive.  One of the victims is a woman. The other two are men. Police are searching for at least one man who was seen running from the scene.  A Lo-Down tipster said Police officers were looking for the gun in trash cans.  Witnesses said the shooting happened in front of 183 Stanton.

UPDATE 643am:  According to the New York Times, Police believe the “shooting stemmed from an earlier argument involving one or more of the victims — a woman, 53, and two men, 35 and 43.”

The Daily News reports: “The motive for the shooting was not immediately known, but sources said it could have involved a bad drug deal.”
