Report: Man Beaten Outside Orchard Street Restaurant

According to this morning’s New York Post, a man was severely beaten last night on Orchard Street.  The incident happened at about 9:45pm outside Little Giant, the restaurant on the corner of Orchard and Broome. The Post reports: “the bloody 46-year-old victim was hit repeatedly and then fell to the ground.”  A few more details from the article:

“We saw a man walking down the middle of the street,” said a witness, Claudia, who was with a pal. “His mouth was bloody and blood was going down his shirt.” The pair called out to the victim, but he didn’t respond. The man was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where he was in critical condition.

There have been no arrests.
