State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver is accustomed to taking some shots from political foes and newspaper editorial boards. But in recent weeks, everyone from Ed Koch to GOP gubernatorial hopeful Carl Paladino have been going after the so-called “most powerful politician in New York” with great gusto.
