The Moth StorySLAM at Nuyorican Poets Cafe Tonight

Do you have a story to tell? You can tell it at the Moth StorySLAM tonight at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe at 7pm. The Moth StorySLAM provides a stage and a microphone, a theme to inspire and shape the evening, a lively and supportive audience, and a host to guide the festivities. SLAM stories are limited to five minutes, and ten stories are heard. The stories are scored by three teams of audience-member judges, and a winner is announced at every SLAM. Winners later face off in a Moth GrandSLAM. This month’s theme is “Money.” Doors open at 7, stories begin at 7:30. No advance ticket sales for this show.
