
Look for a rainy day in the city and a high of 39. The showers will become less frequent by 11 o’clock or so. More rain tomorrow and (sorry) snow to round out the week. In the news today, the Seward Park Branch of the New York Public Library. We’ll have a story later this morning on how Senator Daniel Squadron is reacting to the city’s decision to close the library on Sundays.
We’re heading over to the Board of Standards and Appeals this afternoon, where the owners of 180 Ludlow will be seeking permission to convert their stalled hotel into an apartment building. Tonight, Community Boards 1 and 3 have their monthly meetings. We’ll be there to see whether there’s more discussion about the Lower Manhattan terror trials. Plus, on a much lighter note, the Art Handlers Olympics is quickly approaching (we’ll tell you what that’s all about)!
