CB3 is out with its January agenda. We already posted the liquor license applications to be considered by the SLA Committee. Here are some other highlights:
- On Thursday, January 7th, the housing/zoning committee will hear a presentation about a proposed 13-story development at 302-304 East 2nd Street (Avenue D). The lot is currently city-owned. A mixed-use project would include 166 residential units.
- Also that night, the New York Ear & Eye Infirmary will explain a plan for a "one story rear enlargement" at 310 East 14th Street.
- On Wednesday, January 13th, the Cooper Square Hotel will ask the transportation committee to support an application for an extended loading zone on the Bowery (36 to 72 feet).
- The same committee will hear a plea from the Shuang Wen School for a traffic light at Montgomery and Cherry Streets.
- Also, Double Happiness Travel & New Everyday Bus Tours will request new bus stops on Pike Street and/or East Broadway
- On January 14th, the parks committee will take up the Basketball City community benefits agreement, once again.
