Pickle Day ’09

Must Read

IMG_1069

Yesterday we stopped by the 9th International Pickle Day. A large crowd
came to the parking lot at the corner of Broome and Ludlow Streets to
sample all things pickled – from half sours to kimchi. All afternoon,
there was a long line in front of Guss' Pickles, the LES institution
that announced earlier this year it's moving to Brooklyn. Guss' did not
have a stall in the main festival area, but that did not keep many
people from walking around the corner for a bit of nostalgia and a
nosh. Click through to see more pictures from Pickle Day.
