Clinton Street Post Office Still in Jeopardy

An Associated Press article posted on the New York Times web site says the Postal Service has narrowed its list of post offices slated for closure. But the revised list still includes the Pitt Station on Clinton Street (near East Brodway). Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver, Rep. Carolyn Maloney and managers of the Grand Street Co-ops have launched a campaign to save the Pitt Station.
