This morning the Landmarks Preservation Commission will consider protecting a few Lower East Side buildings, including the Loews Canal Theater. You can see a portion of the 1927 jewel above (it’s the one in the middle with the shuttered electronics store below). Tonight, CB3 will hold its monthly full board meeting.
