Essex Market hosts its free summer block party this Sunday from 11am – 3pm, on Broome St between Essex and Norfolk. The event includes activities, tasty treats, and live entertainment for the whole family. Games and activities are provided by the Brooklyn Curling Club and Streetlabs, a lavender sachet workshop from The Hort, and live music by New York City-based musicians Chino Pons and Yotoco. Try samples from the vendors and receive three tickets to use at participating stalls when you present your SNAP/EBT card.
