The Hester Street Fair will be up and running “IRL” this Saturday, August 15th, 2020. As with most businesses and venues, it has been operating online-only throughout the ongoing pandemic. The fair, made up of an ever-changing selection of independent designers, artists, creators and food vendors, is entering into its 11th year of operation at Essex and Hester Streets. They write:
As NYC continues to lead by example for reopening businesses and protecting our people in the process, we can proudly say that the Hester Street Fair will be re-open for business, starting this upcoming Saturday, August 15th. We’ll also be opening our gates to the community every Sunday and are planning some special evening events to happen on the weeknights.
The team makes clear they will be adhering to strict COVID-19 guidelines, reducing their visitor capacity to 25% and keeping vendors 6 ft. apart. Masks are required and there will be hand-washing and sanitizing stations throughout the lot.
