Tomorrow there will be a six-hour procession “of visual art, giant puppets and costumes” through the Lower East Side. “Ecological City” is described as “a climate action, ecological urban pilgrimage and performance art event.”
Throughout the day, there will be 20 site performances of dance, theater, music and poetry in celebration of sustainability solutions in the neighborhood’s community gardens and along the East River waterfront.
