Police are still looking for a suspect in the Friday morning robbery and shooting of a man on Clinton Street.
According to investigators, the victim, 31, was going inside his apartment at 103 Clinton (just above Delancey Street) around 4:30 a.m. The suspect grabbed him from behind, they say, and stole some jewelry, including a gold chain. He then beat the man, apparently with a gun; during the ordeal the gun went off and the victim received a superficial bullet wound to the face.
