From this morning’s New York Post “Police “Blotter:”
Two crooks were nabbed for a string of East Side robberies, authorities said yesterday. Darren Antrum, 44, and Calvin Guido, 19, held up a store on Second Avenue near East Third Street at 3:10 p.m. last Monday, officials said. The duo simulated handguns under their shirts and demanded cash before fleeing with a worker’s and $300, cops said. Then, late Thursday afternoon, the thieves struck again, storming into a business on Third Avenue near East 20th Street and holding a hard object to the cashier’s back, authorities said. Guido allegedly barked, “I have a gun! I will shoot you! Open the drawer!” before fleeing empty-handed with his accomplice. The bandits allegedly struck again one more time Thursday — at 8:41 p.m. on 46th Street near Second Avenue, mugging a man entering his building. They were finally arrested Friday.
