Stephan Salisbury on “Mohamed’s Ghosts”

Author and staff writer for The Philadelphia Inquirer, Stephan Salisbury, will be reading from his latest book, Mohamed’s Ghosts – An American Story of Love and Fear in the Homeland, this evening at Bluestockings Bookstore at 7:00pm. The story examines anti-Arab hysteria after 9/11 and the devastation of Philadelphia’s Muslim community after the government investigation of the Ansaarullah mosque and arrest of its imam, Mohamed Ghoraband. Salisbury builds the text around the personal stories of the many people he interviewed over four years. FREE
