The New Museum‘s Stuart Regen Visionaries Series lecture will be given by Wikipedia founder (or co-founder, depending on which Wikipedia entry you read) Jimmy Wales tonight at 7:00pm. (There are cocktails beginning at 6:30p.) Wales was recognized as one of the world’s most influential people in the “Scientists & Thinkers” category of “Time 100 Award” in 2006. The Visionaries Series at the New Museum honors special individuals who have made major contributions to art and culture, and are actively imagining a better future. $20 members. $30 non-members.
