–It was a high profile announcement back in 2021 when the Essex Crossing developers announced that Verizon would be leasing 143,000 square feet of office space at 155 Delencey St. and moving its marketing teams to the Lower East Side. Now Verizon has scrubbed the move and is trying to sub-lease the space. [The Real Deal]
–“Verizon’s decision to sublease arrives as the pandemic-driven schedules of employees working just some days in the office, higher interest rates and companies looking to cut costs are curbing demand in some major office markets.” [CoStar News]
