The Public Theater’s experimental festival, Under the Radar is moving online this year, and is being offered for free. As with most theatrical and live performance events in these pandemic times, the international festival has been forced to adapt to restrictions from the COVID19 crisis, but it’s not as much of a challenge as it might be for some, considering how the festival itself is constantly questioning what exactly makes something a piece of theater. They have been pushing boundaries and highlighting new forms of performance for almost two decades. This year they reimagine theater for the digital space with a mix of “on-demand and live-streamed” performances.

Find a full list of offerings here. Through January 17, 2021.
