Alan LeNoble spotted some activity outside Diller, the long-delayed fried pickle spot from the Pickle Guys. Permanent signage was going up yesterday at 357 Grand St. According to the Seward Park Co-op, which owns the commercial space, Diller has been so slow to open because ConEd needs to increase the capacity of the gas lines leading to the restaurant. The fried pickle concept was first announced in January of 2017. The Pickle Guys, by the way, will be back open today following the Yom Kippur holiday.
