There was a gunpoint robbery on New Year’s Eve at Sunita Bar on Norfolk Street.
According to the New York Post, it happened at around 10 p.m. Someone called 911 and police were able to catch a 17-year-old suspect right away. Shane Thomason has been charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, possession of stolen property and resisting arrest. Police are looking for two accomplices, who reportedly took off down Rivington Street.
Cops say the suspects took cell phones, cash from customers and money from the register. About $300 was taken all together.
