Great NY Noodletown, a go-to spot for Cantonese roast meats and noodle soups, is back open today.
The popular destination at 28 Bowery had been shut down by the city’s Department of Health after receiving 116 violation points in an inspection Jan. 12. The restaurant was inspected again on Friday and received only 3 violation points. There’s a “Grade Pending,” sign on the window this afternoon, meaning the owners (and loyal customers) won’t be able to breath easier for a little while.
The dining room looked pretty busy at around 4 p.m. today.
