The Seward Park Conservancy is hosting a Fall Cocktail Party on October 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 on the Rooftop at Manny Cantor Center, 197 East Broadway, to celebrate all they’ve accomplished in three years of the Conservancy. Their volunteer efforts have raised $6.8 million in NYC Parks funding for the restoration of Seward Park.
The evening features hors d’oeuvres from L’Amico by Laurent Tourondel and live entertainment by Paul Shapiro and Dan Rosengard, as well as welcome remarks by Adrian Benepe, senior vice president and director of city park development for The Trust for Public Land and former New York City Park Commissioner. All proceeds will support the work of the Conservancy, including ongoing fundraising for the restoration of Schiff Fountain, and park programming, like the summer movie series.Â
