It looks as though work is just about finished on the Sol Lain Playground. An official reopening of the public space between Henry Street and East Broadway is planned in October when a $3 million renovation is completed.
One of the main users of the playground, the Sol Lain Flag Football League, is getting into the swing of the fall season with their 2017 tryouts. See the flyer below for details. Â Tryouts will be held at Henry M. Jackson Playground (Jackson and Henry streets), which was also recently renovated.
