There’s a new player in the Lower East Side growler game.
Over the weekend, we heard from Cat DiPaci, who just soft opened a place called Beer Fridge NYC at 41 Essex St. It’s a specialty craft beer shop, “dedicated to promoting the greater New York beer scene.”
You can create your own six packs or purchase bottles or cans individually. There’s a growler filling station with limited releases on tap (you can also have a taste). Cat says her goal is to make buying beer educational and fun.
We’ll have more details when the Beer Fridge has its official opening.
The shop joins Malt & Mold and Top Hops, which also specialize in growlers and craft beers.
