The Pickle Guys moved across the street to 357 Grand St., earlier this year and went to work on setting up an adjoining fried pickle restaurant. Tomorrow, owner Alan Kaufman and company will be throwing a grand opening celebration inside the beloved Lower East Side store.
It all happens at 1 p.m., with free samples and tastings.
Kaufman and co-owners William Soo and Michael Chu will be joined by a team from the local non-profit, Asian Americans for Equality. AAFE’s affiliate, Renaissance Economic Development Corp., helped the Pickle Guys move into the upgraded space. . The organization facilitated a low-interest small business loan, according to a news advisory.
