The Lower East Side Preservation Initiative and several partners are hosting a candidate forum Monday, May 1. Here’s the invite:
Please join LESPI and partners on May 1 as we hear from candidates for New York City Council Districts 1 and 2 about their vision and records on historic preservation issues. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions about their plan to preserve the historic architecture, streetscapes and character of the Lower East Side, from Chinatown to 14th Street.
