You still have another week to take in some of the theatrical and dance performances at the 20th annual New York International Fringe Festival. But all of that creativity will make you hungry… and thirsty. So local chef Jimmy Carbone (Jimmy’s No 43) is co-hosting a pop-up food series at Fringe Cafe. It’s being held in the backyard at Downtown Art, 70 East 4th St. (Bowery).
Tomorrow from 5-10 p.m., Jimmy’s No 43 will be serving up beef sliders with guest chef Davide Navarro of Mexico City.
Saturday from 2- p.m., 7th Street’s Porchetta will be preparing porchetta sandwiches.
Sunday from 2-10 p.m., Jimmy’s returns with street tacos.
Monday from 4-10 p.m., Delancey BBQ from Brooklyn is on deck.
There will also be Sixpont Beer, wine from Red Hook Winery and Stumptown cold brew.
